Keyser Glancy will be teaching a 2-hour class on various methods of cast-on’s and bind-off’s in knitting.

Cast-on methods covered will be:

• Knitted Cast-on
• Long Tail Cast-om
• German Twisted Cast-on
• Judy Becker’s Magic Cast-on

Cast-off methods covered will be:

• Traditional Bind-off
• Crochet Bind-off
• Stretchy Bind-off
• Icelandic Bind-off

Supplies needed are:

• Size US#8 needles (or size you are most comfortable with using for worsted weight yarn – #4 yarn)
• AT LEAST 4 swatches in #4 worsted weight, 20 stitches wide and at least 15 rows long – DO NOT bind off as these swatches will be used for learning the methods during the class.  The swatches can be placed on holders or waste yarn until the class.
