Crocheted Port Pillows (and associated “friends”)
March 27 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Lois Moore will teach a class on crocheting Port Pillows. At this class, you will learn how to make very quickly crocheted pillows that a patient can tie onto their seat belt to pad their port, protecting it from the pressure of their auto seat belt.
Lois has extended this concept and a portion of the class will cover how to use the same pattern to create “toys” for use with dementia patients. These “toys” are easier and faster to make than our traditional octopuses.
Pattern, worsted weight yarn and fiberfill will be provided. Just bring your size H (5mm) crochet hook and the knowledge of how to chain, single crochet and slip stitch
This class will be limited to 10 participants.
