Mini-workshop: Double Knitting – using only one color
March 21 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
This is a very interesting way in which to stitch small bags or pouches. With a long, over-the-shoulder cord, it can become a handy keeper of your phone or keys while on the treadmill or strolling in the park. Or, add a flap and you have an entirely different project! Or, make a square (cotton yarn only for this one), use a 3-needle bind off and create a hot-pad. You should be able to cast on, slip a stitch purlwise, and knit in order to take this workshop. Please bring US# 8 or 9 needle(s) with you. Straight needles work best for this project.
Prerequisite: Basic knitting techniques
Instructor: Tricia Ennis
